Kerry-Ann Williams, M.D.

Dr. Williams completed her medical school training at the Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, NE. She completed her general psychiatry residency at the University of Nebraska (UNMC)/Creighton University joint residency program. She graduated from the child and adolescent fellowship program at Brown University in Providence, RI.

She specializes in the psychiatric management of traumatic stress and posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD). She also specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for anxiety, depression, and insomnia.

Dr. Williams is the Chief Medical Officer of Justice Resource Institute (JRI). In addition, she holds a faculty appointment at Harvard Medical School as part-time Lecturer. In this role, she teaches medical students, residents and fellows currently enrolled in Harvard training programs. Dr. Williams has a small private practice in Concord, MA.

Dr. Williams provides psychiatric consultation to the Osiris Group, a Children's Behavioral Health Initiative (CBHI) provider located in Roxbury, MA. She also serves as the school physician at the Nashoba Learning Group in Bedford, MA, a therapeutic school program for children and adults with autism spectrum disorders. Dr. Williams serves on the advisory board for the Center for Trauma and Embodiment (CFTE).

Dr. Williams hosts a mental health podcast called “Black Mental Health Matters with Dr. Kerry-Ann” which is available on multiple podcasting platforms.

Dr. Williams was selected as one of the Boston Business Journal’s 40 under 40 for 2020. She was also selected as one of the Get Konnected! Boston’s Most Impactful Black Women in 2021.
